Darlyne D. Davis

Darlyne Davis, our porcelain doll artist, has been creating beautiful porcelain dolls in her own studio (Story Time Dolls) for over twenty years.  Darlyne has also been teaching porcelain doll making for that same length of time and is constantly sought out as a consultant to many doll makers on the West Coast.  She is currently in the process of changing her commitments to devote her time to making dolls to be offered here on this web site.

Darlyne has taken top awards in every national and international competition she has entered and each of her dolls offered here is of that same competition quality.  Story Time Dolls and Dolls by Darlyne are in collections through the United States and many other countries.

Story Time Dolls and Dolls by Darlyne are created in the porcelain artistry of Darlyne Davis from original sculptures by leading doll artists.  Each doll is individually handcrafted and will not be duplicated in detail or dress.  Each doll is inscribed by Darlyne in the porcelain before firing and bears her name, the year produced, and the appropriate numbers of the limited edition of that doll.  No edition will exceed one hundred dolls and most are limited to less than fifty dolls.  Each doll has a Certificate of Authenticity that includes the above information and a color picture of the doll.

Darlyne has been commissioned by a major gift center in Alaska that caters to the Cruise passengers and world wide collectors.  She provides exclusive ethnic dolls to that customer who has reserved her entire wholesale production for the next five years..

However,  Darlyne is now offering a select few of her dolls through this web site as her only retail outlet.
